Ellie Solomon from Generations is stopping by today for some girl chit chat. She has agreed to take some time away from fighting evil to talk to us today. Even though we know she can never get a break.
Mia Castile author of Generations, a book written about Ellie’s life, has helped Ellie escape from all the chaos and stop by our blog today.
Hi Ellie, thank you for stopping by for a little girl talk 😉 Mia has told me a lot about you, thank you for being here.
It’s so nice to be here, thank you for having me 😀
I can’t imagine how hard it is to be orphaned at such a young age, but you’ve lived with foster parents for a while. What made you and Gideon want to have your own place and leave them?
Growing up in foster care, we never had a place that felt like home. The last family we lived with was really great, but the thing is, they weren’t our family; and once Gideon was considered an adult we would be separated, so we had to figure out a way to stay together. The apartment is the first place that has felt like home for us.
It’s so romantic to fall in love with the boy in your dreams (literally) how did you feel when you actually saw him, standing right in front of you, an actual person not just a figment of your imagination?
I hyperventilated, and felt weak. I felt a little insane because stuff like that doesn’t happen, sharing dreams, especially to me.
Tell us a little about your species, and how are you differ from angels?
We are mortals given the gift of free will, even though our spirits live forever, and have lived many lives. Instead of having one soul mate, we have five. As six souls tethered together, our powers become stronger. We are like angels in that we fight a war against darkness or The Noctem. We help protect the balance between good and evil.
Do you miss being human normal?
I never truly felt comfortable in “normal” skin. There’s something to be said for coming into your own. I’ve lost enough to know when you find true love, true friendship, your true self you hang on to it and fight for it.
In your eyes how are Zeke and Ben alike and different from one another? and what do you love most about each one of them?
I can tell Zeke anything. He makes sure I’m safe and protected and stirs emotions in me I never knew existed. Zeke thinks things through, and plans whereas Ben flies by the seat of his pants.
Ben is charming a lot of fun. He is crazy, and wild, the one who you have to constantly worry about, and though he can mess up, you still find a way to forgive him.
It’s rare to see such a strong bond between a brother and sister, if you had to choose between the love of your life or your brother who would you choose and why?
wow, that’s a tough question. In a perfect world, I would figure out a way to protect them both. I couldn’t choose, I would have to find a way. It’s hard for people to understand, but when you grow up only depending on one person, it makes them your world. And when you meet someone who knows you throughout time, and history, it forms an unbreakable bond, one that you would die for.
Now for some fun questions 😀
Chocolate or vanilla?
Oreos or skittles?
Coke or Pepsi?
Yellow or gold?
Blue eyes or brown eyes?
Tall and skinny or short and bulky?
Tall and skinny
Reading or writing?
Boots or sneakers?
Lipgloss or mascara?
Thank you so much for being our guest today. We hope you stop by again soon, to tell us more about your interesting but extremely dangerous life.
